Mayline Confection is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what your rights are.

1. Privacy officer

2. Information we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number if you provide one, and your order details.

When you order a customized product: the text you send us, and your logo in the case of business orders.

When you write to us: the content of your messages and your contact details.

When you browse the site: your IP address in anonymized form, your device and browser type, the pages you view and where your visit came from.

We neither collect nor store any banking data. Payments are processed directly by [payment provider], which never shares your card number with us.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our site uses cookies, which fall into three categories.

Essential cookies allow the site to work: cart, session, security. They cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies tell us how many people visit the site and which pages they view. We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled.

Advertising cookies allow us to show you our products on other sites and to measure campaign performance. We use Google Ads.

The last two categories are activated only with your consent. You give or refuse it in the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time by clicking the privacy icon at the bottom of the screen.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information.

We share it only with the partners needed to run the boutique: Wix, which hosts the site and the online store; [payment provider], which processes payments; Google, for analytics and advertising; and the carrier delivering your order.

6. Transfers outside Quebec

Some of our providers, including Wix and Google, store data on servers located outside Quebec, notably in the United States and Europe. Before using these services, we assessed that they provide adequate protection of personal information, in accordance with Quebec law.

7. How long we keep it

Information related to your orders is kept for as long as our tax obligations require, meaning six years after the end of the relevant tax year.

Customization files, text and logos, are kept for [2 years] after your order so that reordering is easier, then destroyed.

Email exchanges with no associated order are kept for two years.

8. Your rights

At any time, you may:

• Request access to the information we hold about you

• Request its correction if it is inaccurate or incomplete

• Withdraw your consent to analytics and advertising

• Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations

• Receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format

If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

9. Security

The site is protected by an SSL certificate, and payments are encrypted end to end. Access to order information is limited to the owner of the business.

10. Children

Our boutique is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page indicates the version currently in effect.
